Oh, NO NO NO!! You do not want to have anything to do with Great Bridal Expo!!! If you own a business let me be the first one to tell you these people are bad news!! In our experience as bridal experts we learned that this was not a good place to exhibit our wares. They do not do anything to promote the shows. We tried to work it out with our sales girl and when that would not work we went straight to the President of the company who straight out just ignored us!! That says a lot about a company when the President ignores customers with a problem. I was having a problem with my cable company not too long ago. They were giving me a hard time so I googled the Presidents name and sent him an email directly. He got right back to me and fixed out problem right off. Hear that mr President Bill Heaton, President fo Great Bridal Expo?? You have no right to ignore us like that. your company is not even close to being any of that. let me tell you and I am!! Brides & Grooms you especially don’t want to go because they make you wear these big stickers that will ruin your clothes that point you out to the exhibitors! Since no one ever comes since Great Bridal Expo and Bill Heaton don’t ever advertise the events you will be attacked by all the vendors that were sold a bill of goods from Bill Heaton and his aggressive sales force.. They will come down on you like vultures. If that is not bad enough you wil get SPAM and calls and calls and calls and calls and spam and calls and emails and calls and emails and junk mail and more junk mail and spam and more SPAM and more calls wanting to know didn’t you want to do business with them and book your wedding this and that! how do I know? Cause I was a bride and hated Great Bridal Expo before I got a job working as a bridal expert! All my co-workers dispised these shows because no one ever came!! So there I told you! Stay away from Great Bridal Expo and Bill Heaton!
I can’t agree more! As a person who has been in the wedding industry for over 25 years I can also tell you that Great Bridal Expo is not a good company you want to do business with. They will take your money and ignore you and do nothing to promote their shows. Good luck
Great Bridal Expo is no good!! I worked for a company that tried exhibiting with them. They were going to do a national contract. The first two shows were hideous!! The worst thing was that no one at Great Bridal Expo cared!! The President of the company hid behind his secretary, refused to comment on the terrible attendance, etc. offered nothing…. nothing!! Not even an apology!! I went to help because I was gettin married anyway. The show reminded me of the fashion show we put together in high school to raise money. Not too well organized, put together & the fashions weren’t even last years!! They were the year befores!! There is another bridal show that we got with & everything has been much better.
Thank you for your comments and I am sorry to hear about your bad experiences. We do not put on the Great Bridal Expo, we just mentioned it on our blog along with all of the other local bridal shows in the area.
Yeah, I just exhibited at a Great Bridal Expo & was very disappointed with the results. You are correct in saying that the management does not care. Further research on my part revealed that Great Bridal Expo did nothing to even advertise the event except for some free listings I found they had put on craigslist? That probably explains the “low end” quality of the brides & people looking for free handouts that did show up. They were having to give away tickets. hmmmmnnnnn?? Not your fault, DWP. I like your blog. Others should know about this disreputable company. Happy New Year!
