A beautiful bag for the bride! Such bag definitely suits the bride to carry her goodies. At least such things makes me happy and forget some tiring events. Wedding planning is always been a headache for everyone. I personally feel that I got tied up to my wedding date. So many formalities and paperwork have to be done before wedding. But thanks to the wedding planner that helped me on time for individual planning.

Cutting back on floral is also a helpful to a certain extent. You have to think about where you are going to spend most of your time and invest the bulk of the money there. There are so many clever ideas for alternatives to floral. Candles collections enhanced with floral is one great way. Another great way is to use huge tissue paper flowers or large Chinese lanterns for an inexpensive way to put color high in the ceiling without floral. Cutting cost there would be to choose a more intimate setting that doesn't have 30' ceilings. Having a reception during the day also helps to reduce the cost of additional lighting that is crucial for finished out evening events, as well as the alcohol tab! One main objective is to find a floral design studio that is going to design something to fit your budget!

I was married in January and for me it was the favors. I was glad I didn't spend the time and money on them and I am pretty sure no one missed them. Instead I let some of my guests take home flowers from the centerpieces.

[...] We all love to remember good times and good things in are past. These ice cream cookies bring back some good times for me. Share with your guests things that will re-create some good memories for them as well. These small bite size ice cream cookie sandwiches would be a nice addition to your wedding cake, a fun snack mid-way through the reception or great at a dessert reception. Your guests will be wanting to take one home because they look so yummy. Source: http://dallasbrides.wordpress.com/2008/07/14/inspiration-ice-cream-cookies-at-your-reception/ [...]

Completely disappointing cupcakes. I'm shocked at the hype about this cupcake shop "from Beverly Hills". I feel like I just fell for some kind of joke or something. Anyway, the vanilla cupcakes were terribly dry and unmemorable and the frosting was just okay. I wanted to serve them at my wedding because it's the famous Sprinkles Cupcakes -- but I don't want to risk the discussion at my reception being about how terrible the cupcakes are instead of how wonderful the bride and groom look. :) So this was an easy decision -- I will not use Sprinkles Cupcakes at my wedding, nor will I return to their bakery. I recommend other brides stay away -- it's just not worth it.

Actually, I am wearing a black wedding dress. It's an old tradition in Spain for brides to wear black silk dresses with black lace veils.
